One-to-One AI Skill Sets Coaching forConstruction Professionals

The AI assistant can speed up your bill of quantities work, tenders, method statements and project reports, or it can misprice a bill, break the logic of a method statement, and leave documents you cannot defend to a client, funder or employer. In each three-hour session your coach watches how you direct the assistant on your own bills, tenders and site documents, corrects your method live, and closes with a check that every figure and statement is yours to stand behind. You drive the assistant, verify every output, and stay the author throughout.

One coach, hands-on · Live one-to-one AI sessions, three hours each · Built for African construction professionals

Why coaching works

Why coaching works, where a prompt guide does not.

A skill is acquired by doing it under guidance, not by reading a prompt list. You can memorise clever prompts and still misprice a bill of quantities, trust a rate the assistant invented, or hand over a report that reads as machine-made. Coaching is where the method becomes yours: you direct the AI assistant on your own bills, tenders, method statements and project reports, your coach corrects your method in the moment, and each session adds another governed technique your work depends on, from precise briefing through measurement, pricing and writing to verification, ethical disclosure and a repeatable workflow. Open any pillar below to see how it moves your work.

You do it, you do not just watch

Every module follows the same learning loop. The coach demonstrates the technique, you direct the AI yourself on your own material, and your method is corrected and checked until it is sound. You never simply copy a prompt alone and hope it holds.

Why this matters: A tool you do not drive is a tool you do not own. Practising the skill yourself is what makes it yours.

What this means for you
  • The coach demonstrates, then you practise the same technique yourself
  • You drive the AI; the coach guides your method
  • You are corrected as you go, until the technique is automatic
  • Hands-on practice, not a passive lecture
  • The skill becomes yours, not the coach's

Across the coaching: this doing-it-yourself loop runs through all eight modules, from AI foundations to a complete governed AI workflow.

See the twelve modules

One coach, every session

You work with one coach who stays with you for the whole engagement. They come to know your work, your trade and your habits, so the guidance is specific to you rather than generic advice repeated to a room.

Why this matters: Continuity compounds. A coach who already knows your work can go straight to what matters, session after session.

What this means for you
  • The same coach for the whole package
  • Three-hour live sessions, one-to-one and hands-on
  • Guidance tuned to your research, not a generic prompt list
  • A coach who fills the gap between site meetings
  • Momentum built and held across the sessions

Note: your coach never replaces or overrules your project lead. They work alongside your project team, so the documents you take back are already sharper.

See the twelve modules

Practice on your own research

You direct the AI on the work that matters, your own tender, BQ or report, or on practice material if you are equipping ahead. The prompt you refine, the rate you check, the schedule you plan and the paragraph you revise are all on your real work.

Why this matters: Method applied to your own file turns into real progress the same session, not abstract prompts you still have to transfer.

What this means for you
  • You work on your own documents, not toy prompts
  • Every session moves your actual project work forward
  • Techniques land in the context where you will use them
  • Practice material is available if you are equipping ahead
  • Small, achievable progress on the document that counts

The bright line: you drive the AI throughout. The coach guides and corrects your method, but never has the AI do your work for you.

See the twelve modules

Correction in the moment

Because the coach watches you direct the AI live, you are corrected the instant your method slips, not weeks later. A prompt that invites fabrication, a rate the AI invented, a report that reads as machine-made, all caught while you are still in the work.

Why this matters: Correction in the moment is the fastest way to build a skill. You do not carry the mistake into the next chapter.

What this means for you
  • Close feedback, so the coach sees exactly how you prompt
  • Mistakes caught and fixed as they happen
  • Feedback on your own file, not on a generic example
  • Time spent on method, not on generic prompt tips
  • A written summary of the fixes within five working days

How it lands: you leave each session with three concrete things to practise, so the correction turns straight into your next stretch of work.

A rhythm that fits a real life

Most construction professionals are doing this around demanding site work, family or distance. The coaching is built for exactly that: focused three-hour sessions you schedule flexibly, with the hands-on work done live and a clear method to practise between them.

Why this matters: A few focused sessions become a method you own, because the rhythm respects the little time a busy, working professional can spare.

What this means for you
  • You practise the method in your own protected blocks
  • Three-hour sessions, scheduled when they suit you
  • You bring your own document to each session
  • Book, reschedule and cancel your sessions yourself
  • Momentum that fits around work, family and distance

Your session, mapped: the switcher further down the page walks through the cycle, from your prep to the compliance check.

Skills you keep for good

The governed AI method you build in coaching does not expire when this project is delivered. Built once, it carries you through the rest of this project, and through the tenders, reports and programmes that come after.

Why this matters: You are not renting help for one deadline. You are building a craft that serves every document you ever produce.

What this means for you
  • Prompting, sourcing and verification skills that stay with you
  • Fluency directing the AI assistant for good
  • Craft that carries into tenders, reports and future programmes
  • A governed, disclosed method you can explain to any client or auditor
  • Independence you keep long after the coaching ends

A skill you own, not a service you rent.

Coaching builds the disciplined AI method into you, so you can drive the AI yourself, on this project and every one after it. You verify and own every output, and the method stays with you for good.

What we coach, module by module

Twelve coaching modules, each a governed use of the AI assistant on your construction work.

Every module follows the same loop: the coach shows the technique, you direct the AI assistant on your own work, and your method is corrected until it is sound and disclosable. Together they carry you from AI foundations to a complete, governed AI workflow you can explain and defend. The path below moves on its own from 01 to 12; hover the card or use the pause button to take your time, or select any step to jump.

Your journey, 01 to 12

Your week, with a coach in it

How a few live sessions become a method you own.

Most construction professionals juggle documents with demanding site and project work, so the coaching is built in focused three-hour sessions rather than a long course. The hands-on work happens in the session, where you direct the AI on your own material while the coach corrects your method, and between sessions you practise it yourself. Here is what a session cycle looks like.

    Before

Bring your own construction document to the session

Before your session you choose the real work you want to drive AI on: a bill to price, a report or method statement to structure, a schedule or budget return to plan, or a document to revise in your own voice.

You also bring your own standards or client requirements where you have them; if you do not, AOSARS supplies its default professional-integrity protocol for AI use. Nothing is required beforehand but your own task.

    • Your own workBring a real document, not a toy prompt.
    • Your rules to handYour own standards or client requirements, or ours by default.
    Session start

Set the task and the rules together

The session opens by framing the task: what you are asking the AI to accelerate, what stays yours to decide, and where the accountability line falls for this piece of work.

Your coach sets the governance up front, so every prompt that follows is disclosable and every output is one you can stand behind.

    • Task framedWhat the AI accelerates, and what stays yours.
    • Line drawnThe accountability line set before the first prompt.
    Session core

Direct the AI on your own work

This is the heart of the session. You drive the AI on your real task while the coach watches your method: how you prompt, how you feed in your rates and specifications, how you push back on a weak or invented answer.

The coach corrects the method in the moment, so a prompt that invites fabrication or a rate the AI made up is caught while you are still in the work, never after.

    • You driveYour hands on the AI, the coach on your method.
    • Corrected liveA weak or invented answer caught on the spot.
    Session close

Check your work against what a client would expect

Every session closes the same way: a check of what you produced against what a client, funder or employer would expect, so each AI-assisted step is disclosed, defensible and yours to explain.

You leave knowing exactly which steps used AI, how, and how you would account for each one to a client, funder or employer.

    • Accountability checkedEvery session ends against your own standards.
    • Disclosable stepsEach AI-assisted step you can explain and defend.
    Between

    Practise the method yourself

Between sessions you run the same governed method on more of your own work: price the next section of the bill, plan the next schedule, revise the next report, keeping the AI as the instrument and yourself as the author.

You leave each session with three concrete things to practise, so the method sets into habit before you meet again.

    • You drive, coach guidesThe method run on your own work.
    • Three next stepsEvery session ends with clear practice.
    After

A written summary of your method

Within five working days of your session, a written summary of your method and the corrections follows, so nothing from the session is lost and you can act on it in your own time.

That summary, plus your three practice tasks, is what turns a few sessions into a governed AI method you own, and it holds across every document that follows.

    • Within five working daysThe fixes in writing, yours to keep.
    • A method, keptYours to reuse across every project.

Plays through on its own. Hover to pause, or click any day to jump.

A view of one session cycle. The hands-on work happens in the live session, and every session closes with a check that every figure and statement is yours to defend to a client, funder or employer.

    Inside the coaching

What a session actually looks like.

Every session runs the same way, so you always know what to expect and how to prepare.

    What you gain

What you will be able to do, once the coaching has done its work.

Coaching builds the disciplined AI method into you, not into a saved chat. These are the skills you walk away able to use yourself, on this project and every one after it, and to explain to any client, employer or funder.

    01

Drive the AI assistant as a disciplined instrument

Understand what the AI assistant can and cannot do for construction work, prompt it precisely, and keep it the instrument while you stay the author of every document.

    02

Accelerate your rates, take-off and pricing

Use AI to gather rates and specifications faster, to extract quantities and figures, and to plan and check your BQ pricing and schedules, then verify everything it returns so your documents are quicker to build and still trustworthy.

    03

Write with AI support, in your own voice

Use AI to structure and pressure-test your reports and method statements, then revise them in your own professional voice, so the writing is stronger and never a machine-made substitute.

    04

Verify every output and protect your standing

Catch invented rates, check quantities and clauses against drawings and standards, and close every document against what a client, funder or employer would expect, so a costly error or a query stops being a threat.

    05

Own a governed AI workflow, for good

Assemble a disclosed, defensible AI method across your whole workload that you can explain to any client, employer or funder, and keep it for every project after this one.

    What scholars say

From the construction professionals now using AI well.

I was using AI on my bills in a way I could not have explained to a client. In two sessions my coach showed me how to prompt it properly, check every rate it gave back, and stand behind every figure. I drive it now, and I own the work.

I was drafting method statements and progress reports the client kept sending back. We built a method around my own documents, and now I can account for every AI-assisted step. That worry is gone.
    Site Engineer
    Southern Africa · Coaching
AI kept inventing rates and clauses that fell apart the moment the QS checked them. My coach taught me to verify quantities and figures against the drawings, and suddenly the AI was speeding me up, not setting traps.

I used AI to help plan my budget returns and structure my reports, but in my own voice. My coach kept it as a tool I direct, so the work stays mine, and the documents go far faster.

    Coaching packages

One coaching programme. Three ways to take it.

All three are built on the same one-to-one, hands-on AI coaching, in three-hour live sessions on your own construction work. They differ in how many of the twelve skill modules they cover: live coaching on modules 01 to 04, the foundational core from your AI foundations to measurement and take-off; the same coaching extended through modules 01 to 09, the full production phase, plus six months of e-learning access to those modules; or, at the top tier, live coaching across all twelve modules, the complete method through verification, disclosure and your own governed workflow, plus six months of e-learning access to every module. You practise each skill on your own current work and own every output. You pay to enrol, then schedule your sessions. Most construction professionals choose the middle option.

    Pro: Full Lifecycle Practitioner Toolkit

The whole project lifecycle, from request for tenders through execution to site reporting, checked before review.
    USD 100

The foundations plus the whole project lifecycle: reading a request for tenders and building the response, a verified take-off, a cross-checked Bill of Quantities and rate build-ups, the programme, material schedules and procurement, site records and reports, interim valuations, and variations, cost reports and the final account, each deliverable verified and disclosed, and packaged into a reusable site SOP. All modules.

    • Read a request for tenders, assemble a complete, compliant response, and price the Bill of Quantities to the standard method with missing or duplicated items caught.
    • Work up an organised take-off from a drawing set far faster, with the assistant cross-checking while you measure and verify every quantity against the drawings.
    • Turn the programme and priced BQ into time-phased material schedules and like-for-like supplier comparisons, and keep clean site records throughout.
    • Defend rates, interim valuations, variations and the final account figure by figure, and turn raw site notes, measurements and photos into progress and inspection reports in your own voice.
    • Package the whole lifecycle into your own site SOP, with reusable templates and repeatable routines you run and check.

The full skill set applied to a supervised take-off and valuation on your own drawings, checked figure by figure.
    USD 150

Everything in the full programme, plus a supervised deliverable the Practitioner package does not carry: a take-off and interim valuation on your own live drawings, worked with you and checked figure by figure against the drawings, every quantity verified and owned by you. One-to-one coaching is applied to your own drawings and project and never done for you, and six months of e-learning access lets you revisit any module in your own time.

Is this coaching, or a prompt guide? +

It is one-to-one coaching, not a prompt guide or a video course. In each three-hour session a coach watches how you direct the AI assistant on your own tender and BQ work, reports, method statements and project documents, and corrects your method in the moment, which a static guide cannot do. You drive the AI throughout; the coach builds the disciplined method with you, and the skill stays yours.

Which AI tools will I learn to use? +

You learn to drive the AI assistant as a drafting and cross-check partner, used alongside the tools you already work in: Word for reports and method statements, Excel for bills, material schedules, labour schedules and budget returns, and your own drawings, rates and standards for verification. Everything runs on your own laptop or desktop, and you drive all of it yourself.

Will the coach use AI to do my BQ, pricing or reports for me? +

No, and that is the bright line. The coach never has the AI price your bill, build your programme or draft your reports, and never does it for you either. You direct the AI, you verify it, and you own every document. The coaching builds your method; it never produces the work you submit to a client, funder or employer.

I am worried about AI putting a wrong figure into a document I have to defend. Does this help? +

That worry is exactly what this coaching removes. You build a disciplined, disclosed method, and every session closes with a check that every rate, quantity and statement is yours to defend, so each AI-assisted step is one you can explain and stand behind. You bring your own standards or client requirements if you have them; if not, we supply a default professional-integrity protocol for AI use.

Do I need a live tender, BQ or report to start? +

No. You are welcome to bring your own tender, bill of quantities, report, method statement, material schedule or budget return, but nobody is required to. AOSARS supplies practice construction documents and its default integrity protocol for anyone who prefers to start there. The method you build is the same either way.

How many sessions do I get, and how long are they? +

Each session is three hours, one-to-one and live. The Foundations tier is two sessions, six hours in all; the Practitioner and Workflow Partner tiers are three sessions, nine hours in all. Sessions are scheduled flexibly around your site and project work. There is no e-learning component; the value is the live, corrected practice, and a written summary of your method follows within five working days of each session.

Do I need to be an engineer or quantity surveyor? +

No. The coaching suits site engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers, foremen and supervisors, and anyone in construction who has to produce tenders, bills, reports, method statements, schedules or budget returns. The coach tunes the work to your role and the documents you actually handle, so the AI method fits how you already work.

How do I pay, and can I use mobile money? +

You enrol through secure checkout and pay in your local currency, by card, bank transfer or mobile money where it is supported. Payment confirms your place, and we then email you instructions for scheduling your sessions. If you are unsure which tier fits before you pay, email info@aosars.com or use the no-commitment options above.
